It’s been a life long dream of mine to be able to sing and perform. Since the age 8 I have been writing poems, what my parents thought would turn out to be a talent for story writing was actually an early manifestation of my musical talents. As the years rolled on I became more involved with participating in plays and musical productions at school and by the age of 10 I had developed a definite interest in music and singing. By the early teen years my talent for writing poems had developed into my songs and I became more focused on writing and singing, what was handy too was that I had taken piano lesson for 2 years and although I had not realised it I had certainly grown an ear for brining the right notes together. After having written many songs, I started to search for an outlet for getting heard. I didn’t know how but I knew what I wanted. Eventually I started to record my songs at home and learnt quite quickly the art of producing, there was more to music than I thought and my hunger to learn more grew. Flash forward to my very first visit to a real studio – I was determined by the age of 19 that I needed to attract some attention, I need to get out there and perform my songs, get them online and get people listening. I have been experimenting since then over the 5 years leading up to know I have been signed to a talent management company, unfortunately though when seemed it had all been coming together they the company had financial difficulties and could not keep all as many artist as it had on its books and the relationship ended. Now I’m more focused than ever, I have developed a good working relationship with a fantastic producer with loads of experience. He has been helping me define my music and sound and I have really started to produce the kind of music I have always wanted to. I have a few plans in the pipeline and continue to perform at events to gain experience and build confidence. I only hope my hard work will pay off this year, I’m determined for it to pay off this year.
